For once I write in English because I participate in the Sewpony-sewing-contest!
I sewed a lot the past months for Isolde and Axl-Miro. Spring arrived in Belgium and they both need new clothes!
I made a Juliette-top with matching shorts for Isolde, in houndstooth-fabric combined with pink bias. I think it’s playful and charming, just as Isolde!
She’s 33 months now and knows exactly what she wants… most of the time she wants ice cream! 🙂
I bought a pillowcase in our local thriftstore (Kringwinkel Okazi), for only half a euro! The yellow and white stripes scream “SUMMER” to me! I had just enough fabric for a sleeveless Juliette Dress.
I added a visible pink zipper at the back (also bought for half a euro ). Isn’t she adorable with this ruffled summer dress?
This is definitely the cheapest dress in her closet but I love it!
I don’t expect to win the sewing contest – not at all because there are so many beautiful entries. But I do love the top and the dress I made for Isolde, that’s most important to me! I’m sure there will follow more Juliette Dresses and Tops!
